LaSalle Network is seeking a driven Engineer who wants more than routine engineering support. This role will join an already established Engineering team to lead capital projects, modernize aging systems and help elevate a growing PSM program at our Rubbertown flagship plant.
Designed for engineers 2–5 years into their career, this role offers hands-on ownership across pumps, reactors and process systems in a 24/7 chemical manufacturing environment. The
Capital Projects Engineer will balance technical rigor with project leadership — managing scope, contractors and execution simultaneously.
What’s the job?
- Manage multiple CapEx projects at once
- Lead contractors across mechanical, electrical and specialty trades
- Upgrade equipment across 10+ reactors
- Partner with external engineering firms when needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive documentation and SAP-based project tracking
What’s needed?
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of engineering experience
- Multi-project management capability
- Industrial or chemical manufacturing exposure preferred
- PSM familiarity a plus
