We are seeking a 2nd Shift
Inventory/Shipping Clerk to join our team. This role supports Material Control, Purchasing, and Stockroom functions, including issuing and returning materials, performing cycle counts, and coordinating after-hours shipping and receiving. The Inventory/Shipping Clerk plays a key role in ensuring our operations meet customer requirements for quality, quantity, and timeliness.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory
- Receive materials from Inspection and outside suppliers.
- Issue materials to work orders, both physically and in the ERP system, while maintaining strict controls.
- Return materials from work orders into ERP and to designated inventory locations.
- Repackage materials from bulk to smaller lots; re-label and obtain Quality-approved documentation.
- Restock inventory and complete all ERP transactions as required.
- Maintain accuracy, cleanliness, and organization of the stockroom and shipping/receiving area.
- Execute cycle count program and support physical inventories.
- Maintain warehouse location system.
- Assist in other material control or related areas as needed.
Shipping and Receiving
- Receive materials from multiple sources and process to incoming inspection.
- Prepare documentation and ship products per customer requirements.
- Verify accuracy of receipts and outbound shipments (counting, weighing, measuring, and comparing details against packing lists, purchase orders, and acknowledgments).
- Coordinate with domestic and international carriers to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
Qualifications
- Experience with ERP-based shipping and receiving transactions preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing logistics and inventory role.
- ERP system experience (Epicor a plus).
- Prior experience in warehouse environments.
- Background in cycle counting, stockroom activities, issuing/returning materials, and inventory reconciliation.
