Position: Logistics/3PL Support Analyst
Location: Richardson, TX
Duration: Direct Hire/FTE
As a Logistics & 3PL Support Analyst, you will play a key role in coordinating daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. You’ll actively track shipments, communicate transit status to internal stakeholders, and serve as the primary administrative contact for third-party logistics providers and carriers. Your responsibilities include auditing freight invoices, supporting trade compliance documentation, and maintaining accurate records in TMS and ERP/MRP systems. You’ll generate routine reports on freight spend and carrier performance, resolve routine logistics issues, and escalate complex problems as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure smooth, cost-effective transportation and compliance with international trade regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in a support role within Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, or a related Supply Chain function.
- Foundational experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Practical experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or freight tracking software.
- Proficiency in Excel for data organization and reporting.
- Familiarity with basic ERP/MRP functions.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
Plusses:
- Exposure to international shipping and trade compliance.
- Experience preparing customs documentation (HTS codes, Incoterms, value declarations).
- Ability to assist with cost-control initiatives through invoice auditing and discrepancy resolution.
