Key Responsibilities
This role is focused on execution and driving internal process change, not external rate negotiations.
- Gain deep operational knowledge of how the new division currently manages its transportation work.
- Drive savings initiatives by partnering closely with the division's warehouse teams and buyers.
- Identify and execute productivity opportunities within the existing logistics workflow.
- Lead the integration of all geographic logistics (US national, regional, and international) encompassing LTL, Small Package, Ocean, and some TL freight modes.
- Interact regularly with internal partners (Operations Managers, Buying/Sourcing teams) and executive teams to report progress and drive alignment.
Required Experience & Critical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or project lead capacity.
- Familiarity with various ERP systems and TMS platforms (like Reconex)
