Job Title: IT Desktop Support Specialist
Overview:

This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, troubleshoot diverse hardware and software issues, and support users across the organization. You'll be part of a small but vital team that ensures seamless IT operations, with potential career growth into networking, cloud administration, or systems management.
Required Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience with Active Directory, including GPOs, user account management, and scripting (PowerShell preferred)
- Experience with VMware vSphere or similar virtualization platforms
- Knowledge of mobile device management platforms such as Kaseya or JAMF
- Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues, including laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
- Experience with enterprise VoIP solutions and server patching
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) applications
- Familiarity with group policies and on-premises infrastructure management
- Working knowledge of structured cabling and data closet maintenance
- Basic understanding of cloud environments including AWS or other cloud platforms
- On-call experience or availability for after-hours support
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent industry experience may be considered)
- 2+ years in an IT support role supporting enterprise environments
