Step into a high?impact Logistics Manager role where you’ll lead delivery, distribution, and warehouse operations in a fast?moving environment. You’ll own performance, people leadership, vendor relationships, and the flow of materials that keep the entire operation running smoothly.
What You’ll Lead
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehouse management, shipping/receiving, trailer staging, and internal material movement.
- Manage third?party freight providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost?effective inbound/outbound freight performance.
- Maintain compliance with DOT, ISO, safety standards, and all state/federal regulations.
- Drive KPI performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support customs, tax, and ERP?based logistics processes.
- Develop and mentor staff while fostering a safe, high?performance culture.
- Ensure equipment, vehicles, and rolling stock meet operational standards.
- Respond quickly to operational issues, customer needs, and internal requests.
What You Bring
- 4+ years leading teams in a manufacturing environment; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong ERP experience and solid understanding of logistics, warehousing, and freight operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross?functionally.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with MS Office and manufacturing software.
- Valid passport with ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- A proactive, dependable, safety?minded approach with strong ethics and professionalism.
Work Environment
- Mix of office, warehouse, and manufacturing floor settings.
- Occasional lifting (under 25 lbs), walking uneven surfaces, and field work.
- Some travel required, primarily by air.
