As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in introducing new technologies, optimizing production processes, and supporting high‑performance packaging operations. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, production, and innovation, ensuring safe, capable, and efficient processes that meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Core Responsibilities
Process & Equipment Engineering
- Act as the technical expert for assigned packaging processes and machinery.
- Lead standardization efforts for equipment and machinery platforms.
- Define, map, and standardize critical process parameters.
- Develop procedures, visual aids, and engineering standards.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Plan, install, and validate new products and technologies in production.
- Implement new platforms and manage core project implementation activities.
- Validate process definitions in accordance with project model standards.
- Lead product recipe development and equipment setup for new products.
Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct and follow up on machine safety risk assessments using local and global methodologies.
- Develop and maintain PFMEAs and Control Plans.
- Lead engineering initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Drive continuous improvement and ergonomic risk-reduction initiatives.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Provide hands-on production support to resolve process issues and ensure standard adherence.
- Lead engineering change implementation and equipment installations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and across sites.
- Partner closely with R&D on the development and deployment of new technologies.
- Interface with suppliers and contractors for process-related support.

The NPI and Engineering department exists to be the liaison bridge between
Development and Packing Production for successful introduction and
sustainment of new technologies, products, and processes. We set and
maintain the pace, standard, and tone for introductions of products and
technologies to the production area. By collaborating with Production
departments, we strive to achieve and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience as a Process Engineer (or similar) in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated root-cause analysis capability.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Experience with PFMEA and Control Plan development.
- Solid mechanical and automation understanding.
- Ability to set, document, and sustain production standards.
- Strong communication skills across organizational levels.
Preferred
- Packaging machinery experience (box forming, closing, counting, sorting, bagging).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Minitab, MS Office, and 2D/3D design tools.
- SAP experience.
- Robotics and automation systems exposure.
- Toy industry experience.
Additional Information
- Travel Approximately 25% international travel.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $84,674.00 - $127,010.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
