Baskervill is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design firm with offices throughout the country and in Gdansk, Poland. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Designer/Engineer to join our growing team. This position provides the opportunity for you to work on a variety of design projects from Healthcare to Hospitality. As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate with Architects and Interior Designers to facilitate the success of Baskervill as we deliver great designs to our clients. Sound interesting? Let’s talk.
What you’ll be doing:
- Technical mechanical lead for assigned projects from schematic design through construction
- Perform or oversee all calculations required for design and edit specifications
- Coordinate design with disciplines, consultants and clients
- Field work as required
- Design layout and collaboration within Revit models
- Assist in the education of design staff
- Provide regular client and consultant communication throughout all phases of the project
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 1-5+ years of professional experience in the preparation of construction and detailed designs (international experience is an additional plus)
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft 365
- Experience in the use of industry-specific software to support design.
- Higher technical education in Environmental Engineering (Polish license (uprawniwnia budowalne) will be an additional asset)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
