Overview
We are looking for a qualified full-time HVAC Project Manager to join our growing company. DB Mechanical is looking for a career-minded professional who has an energetic approach to lead and inspire teams, ensure timely delivery and drive continuous improvements. The position requires you to collaborate with our customers to help lead the projects, coordinate all construction activities to ensure on-time completions and ensure budgets are met.
This is a salaried position with office hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5 pm. Competitive wages based on experience. We have paid holidays, medical and dental benefits and a 401K plan available.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager’s role requires technical expertise, leadership, sales, and project management skills. It also requires coordination with building owners, general contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into building designs. We are looking for a team player, able to work well with others, and have a good attitude and work ethic. The Project Manager job requires you to manage unexpected challenges, such as delays, budget overruns, or design changes along with producing project schedules, project estimates and managing strong relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely material and equipment procurement.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of all types of commercial HVAC systems
- Knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Bluebeam
- Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills
- Proven experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on project leadership and coordination
- Strong organizational and time management, and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be punctual and willing to work at least 40 hours per week
- Must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated
MUST HAVE HVAC KNOWLEDGE. We are looking for someone with minimum 4 years or more of HVAC experience.
