Essential Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty as described below satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create and maintain documentation and procedures for Windows Active Directory and Server engineering/administration.
- Design and evaluate solutions to enhance/improve complex Active Directory domains and forests, Windows servers and related infrastructure across the organization. Make recommendations to management and implement accordingly.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and management to design and implement the most complex Windows server infrastructure projects that fulfill line of business needs across the organization.
- Perform routine systems conformance and capacity validation and routine system maintenance to ensure that Windows servers are up to date, secure, and in compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with cloud engineers and development teams on issue resolution and process improvement.
- Provide operational support such as server monitoring, patching, and other duties as required.
Qualifications / Requirements

- 5+ years Windows Server Administration/Engineering
- Highly proficient in PowerShell and scripting, creating automation solutions that improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Experience and expertise in managing/administering all aspects of Active Directory and any related services and infrastructure (not limited to Certificate Services/DHCP/DNS/Sites)
- Experience in supporting web-based applications hosted in Microsoft IIS/Apache.
- Experience in supporting and administering Microsoft Hyper-V infrastructure.
- Microsoft Certification (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022)
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure
- Demonstrated experience in engineering at a high level across multiple systems.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately depict technical environments.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking, common protocols, mail routing and different mail authentication/protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery systems (N2WS, Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Backup Exec and similar backup software)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and related productivity applications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science (or related discipline) or equivalent experience
Optional/a Plus
- AWS Certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps Associate)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and related productivity applications
- Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration
- Scripting Skills (Python, JSON/YAML).
