Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist is an integral member of the Care Center team reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager in Irving, TX. The Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist is responsible for performing cost accounting, inter-company pricing, budget management, management reporting, shipping process coordination for international, High-End and Exotics, as well as driving continuous improvements from stakeholders.
Job responsibilities
- Responsible for Repair Center Purchase Order Flow, placing supply orders and the reconciliation of invoices.
- Coordinate the complete lifecycle of the export process for international repairs. This includes ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, managing documentation, and facilitating seamless movement of goods for repair purposes. This includes the Temporary Import with Bond (TIB) for Mexico and Canada.
- Point of contact for vendor providers. Providing reporting, business information, and coordination with LV business partners for all needed support.
- Managing month-end closing inventory process including preparing journal entries and analysis of inventory accounts.
- Collaborate and report result of inventory cycle count and full count to SDL and LV business and perform reconciliation in sub-ledgers.
- Perform fixed assets obsolescence and impairment review.
- Plan, manage, conduct and report result of fixed assets physical count, and perform reconciliation in sub-ledgers.
- Present monthly SDL Repair Center performance review to appropriate Management.
- Ensure compliance of all control items in the Inventory and Fixed Assets cycles and track the depreciation.
- Maintains log of all exotic shipments and spare parts. Ensures all CITES clearances are issued and all Prêt-à-portererwork is organized and audited with corresponding spare parts or bags.
- Manage physical inventory destruction processes and data analysis with third party vendor.
- Providing guidance to PowerBI dashboard development for new reports to provide internal customers with timely and visualized information.
- Interacts with all levels, including management.
- Partners with Key Stakeholders in transportation process: White Glove Service, High Value Transportation, International Transportation
Profile
- Minimum Education required: High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of experience in data-entry capacity.
- 1-2 years of working with domestic and international shipping carriers.
- Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to provide reporting and presentation materials.
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities. Able to perform data management.
- Proficiency with intermediate MS Office experience is required. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables)
- Must be able to analyze data and suggest process improvements.
- Must be able to work overtime as required by the demands of the business.
- Must be able to accomplish multiple tasks and respond quickly and effectively to changes in priorities.
