Essential Duties
- Facilitate the coordination of all flights operated by Journey
- Ensure the safe and legal coordination of scheduled flights
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Oversee planning & coordination of flights domestic and international. Duties can include but not limited to: handling, slots, charter permits, fuel, parking, ground transportation, hotel arrangements, APIS & GenDec.
- Provide external agents with all applicable aircraft documents required for trip planning
- Understand and interpret applicable regulations in order to ensure compliance
- Prepare trip sheets and arrange services for passenger convenience
- Arrange crew hotels & transportation as required
- Monitor weather & other events with the potential to impact aircraft operations
- Provide back-up support to other positions as required
- Ensure conformance to Journey safety, security and quality standards
- Report non-compliance observations for any potential quality issues
- Make rapid decisions concerning regulations and economy of operations
- Develop an expert understanding of the aircraft within Journey's fleet as well as aircraft within the charter market. i.e. performance parameters, capacity etc.
- Develop & maintain strong working relationships with charter brokers and operators
- Provide trip quotes through FOS to Journey customers as requested
- Position requires a sense of urgency & real-time response to all inbound communications
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of FARs in regards to Part 91 and Part 135 Operations
- Familiarity with core job competencies including, but not limited to; flight planning, international operations, weather & ATC
- FOS Experience Preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- South Florida and/or East Coast applicants
