Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Weston, FL

Compensation: $24-28/hr

Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation and distribution systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization's products
- Review proposals and make recommendations for modifications in rates and transportation regulations
- Evaluate freight classifications, tariff rates, and operating efficiency to ensure proper delivery of products
- Plan and coordinate fleet operations, including acquisition, scheduling, maintenance service, repair, and disposal of trucks
- Hire common carriers (third-party transportation companies) as appropriate
- Apply knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training to perform job functions
- Work within well-defined procedures and guidelines to support decision-making processes
Requirements- Logistics experience required, both domestic and international
- Inventory management experience is a plus
- Minimum of 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Basic understanding of work routines and procedures in logistics and transportation
- Ability to analyze and evaluate freight classifications, tariff rates, and operational efficiency
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
