Our client, a sustainable fabric + textile manufacturer, is seeking an Logistics Manager to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities
- Manage international shipments and import/export documentation; ensure CBP compliance
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and overseas mills on ETDs/ETAs and delays
- Book containers, negotiate rates, manage vessel schedules, and maintain shipping calendar
- Optimize container utilization and consolidation for cost efficiency
- Oversee domestic freight, track shipments, and resolve exceptions
- Manage warehouse operations across NY/SC/CA, including receiving, QC, shipping, and cycle counts
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and lead inventory reconciliation
- Maintain records, PODs, and logistics documentation in NetSuite, Monday.com, and WMS systems
- Build and refine SOPs; support cost-reduction initiatives across freight, warehousing, and duties
- Partner with Purchasing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance on timelines, delivery updates, and landed costs
Qualifications
- 4+ years in logistics, supply chain, freight, or import/export operations
- Strong understanding of international freight, CBP regulations, HTS codes, and customs processes
- Experience with 3PLs, warehouses, and inventory control
- Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets, WMS, and ERPs (NetSuite preferred)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong communicator
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Textiles/CPG experience, knowledge of packaging/CBM, and tariff/landed-cost strategies preferre
$85k-100k
