Shipping Manager
Location: Piscataway, NJ (Fully Onsite)
Salary: $90,000–$100,000, depending on experience
Seeking an experienced and motivated Shipping Manager to oversee logistics strategy and daily operations, driving efficiency and continuous improvement across all shipping functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize shipping operations, including inbound, outbound, and internal transfers.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement automation or workflow improvements.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.
- Maintain compliance with logistics and trade regulations (CBP, PGA).
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics management with team leadership responsibilities.
- Proven success in process optimization and automation projects.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Access, Power BI).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CCS, CES, CSCP, or CLTD preferred.
- Mandarin language skills a plus.
