What To Expect
Provide network engineering and operational support in a global manufacturing and enterprise environment. This role will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.
What You'll Do
Work closely with Senior and Staff Network Engineers on design and initiativesMaintain current network solution within manufacturing, warehouse, and office environmentsAddress requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solutions to networking needsProvision, implement, test/validate, and maintain networking services per solution designMonitor, analyze, and report metrics of network servicesDocument network knowledgebase and operational "Run-Book"Participate in on-call rotation and perform basic troubleshootingMust be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays2% travel required as necessary
What You'll Bring
2+ years of experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, QoS, VLAN, ACL, NACExperience with multi-vendor firewall technologies including Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks (IPSEC VPN, URL filtering, IDS/IPS)Experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper, Arista, or CiscoExperience with AAA protocols, Network Access Control, or RADIUSExperience with Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, Netflow, IPAM, Splunk, Wireshark, and network tapsExperience developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metricsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
