Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Katy, TX, for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making. The role also involves refining internal financial processes and procedures, managing accounting systems, and leading financial reporting activities. Additionally, the Financial Controller will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial efficiency and planning.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and conducting financial reporting
- Strong background in finance, including a solid understanding of financial principles and practices
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
- Experience in accounting, including familiarity with relevant standards and accounting software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Proven experience in financial management or a similar role
- Knowledge of industry-specific financial compliance regulations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
