Job Title:Logistics CoordinatorPosition Type :PermanentJob DescriptionJob Purpose:
Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, this position will be responsible for scheduling appointments, creating BOL, booking and tracking of trucks

Duties:

Track every outbound truck on the road
Manage customer portals including but not limited to Retail Link and iTrade.
Ability to keep up with logistics invoices on a daily basis
Provide support for sales and operations team as it pertains to commercial moving and logistics projects
Professionally communicate with vendors and customers via phone and internet
Schedule appointments for pickups in coordination with shipping and production teams utilizing customer portals
Schedule deliveries to ensure customer timelines are met and delivery expectations are fulfilled
Generate precise and accurate bills of lading
Track each load in transit and update the sales and coordination teams on the status of all shipments
Identify and escalate issues or potential problems with shipments, ensuring timely resolution
Ensure accurate data entry for all shipment tracking and appointment records daily
Work effectively and efficiently to ensure all tracking information is provided to sales, logistics, and customer service teams promptly
Rotate on call duties for the logistics department which include all the above and additional responsibilities of booking last minute trucks and communicating inbounds to Shipping with ETA.

Skills/Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Capable of working quickly, accurately, and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising quality, must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance with the flexibility to work weekends when needed
Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to read and write in English, Bilingual a plus
