About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and operationally strong Vice President of Infrastructure & Operations to lead enterprise technology infrastructure, cloud operations, IT service management, and end-user computing functions. This leader will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and highly reliable technology services across a complex, regulated environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading enterprise IT infrastructure and operations across cloud and on-prem environments
- Driving operational excellence through ITIL-based service management practices
- Overseeing cloud operations, systems administration, networking, endpoint management, and collaboration platforms
- Ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and service reliability
- Partnering with Information Security on governance, vulnerability remediation, and risk management initiatives
- Managing vendor relationships, managed services providers, and operational budgets
- Building and developing high-performing infrastructure and operations teams
- Leading infrastructure modernization and continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure and operations experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams
- Strong background in IT operations, cloud infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and IT service management
- Experience with ITIL frameworks, incident/problem/change management, and operational metrics
- Expertise in resiliency, disaster recovery, business continuity, and service reliability
- Experience operating within regulated environments
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
- Financial services, banking, or credit union experience
- Hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud + on-prem)
- Microsoft ecosystem experience including Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory / Entra ID
- Infrastructure automation, observability, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code experience
- Certifications such as ITIL, AWS, Azure, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or CCNP
