Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain & Fulfillment Leader for North America to own end-to-end logistics, warehousing, and S&OP execution for a critical region that supports long-term business growth. This highly visible role sits on both regional and global leadership teams and drives strategy across network design, inventory planning, trade compliance, 3PL partnerships, and operational excellence—balancing service, cost, and scalability over a 5-year period. year horizon
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end logistics, warehousing, and S&OP execution for North America, supporting long-term business growth.
- Drive regional and global supply chain strategies, including network design, inventory planning, trade compliance, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to ensure effective customer service.
- Manage and develop regional logistics and warehouse strategies to optimize service levels and reduce costs.
- Oversee regional import/export compliance and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.
- Measure, monitor, and report on KPIs, implementing corrective actions to address logistics issues.
- Ensure accurate demand planning and alignment with SIOP processes, maintaining at least 80% forecast accuracy.
- Manage inbound supply chain activities to support inventory and sales requirements, controlling obsolescence and phase-outs.
- Support order-to-cash processes, resolve delivery and logistics customer complaints, and implement continuous improvements.
- Develop and execute regional supply chain strategies with a 5-year horizon to support business growth.
- Contribute to global supply chain initiatives related to people, processes, and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related fields, with progressive management roles.
- Experience owning/facilitating S&OP processes at regional/global levels.
- Proficiency with advanced planning systems such as Gains, IBP, Kinaxis, and ERP systems like SAP ECC to S4 transformations.
- Deep knowledge of logistics, warehousing, import/export compliance, and international shipping.
- Proven leadership in developing, coaching, and managing teams and third-party logistics providers.
- Subject matter expertise in inventory control, expiration management, and metric achievement.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis related to logistics costs and benefits.
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work proactively in a global environment and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
