Who Are We?
Movemedical is the leading platform for advanced inventory management in the medical device industry. Our software transforms surgical planning, field inventory tracking, and supply chain coordination for some of the world’s largest med device manufacturers.
We're hiring an IT Systems Engineer to help scale and secure the systems that power our company. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where you'll support daily IT operations, strengthen our security posture, and contribute to key infrastructure and automation initiatives. You’ll work across the entire organization, enabling employees to do their jobs efficiently while ensuring our systems and data remain secure and compliant.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and solving real-world problems. You won’t just maintain systems; you’ll help improve them, automate them, and shape how IT operates as we grow.
We hire smart, tenacious people and give them the mentorship and opportunities they need to grow as team members and leaders. Our development process is built for remote teams and facilitates communication and trust. As a small company with big ambitions, we see and recognize the impact of every person on our team.
We are team-oriented and want each other to be successful; we pull together to accomplish our goals. Glassdoor gives us a 4.3/5.0 and Inc. put us on its Best Places to Work Editor's List in 2019.
Who Are You?
You’ve worked in IT long enough to understand how systems, users, and security intersect. You’re comfortable handling support requests, managing access, and troubleshooting issues, but you’re also curious about how things could work better.
You don’t just close tickets; you think about patterns, improvements, and automation opportunities. You understand that small details (like proper documentation or access controls) can have major consequences, especially in regulated environments.
You’re someone who asks questions when something doesn’t look right, and you’re comfortable balancing speed, security, and good judgment.
You’re energized by a role where no two days are the same. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, responsive when things break, and motivated by helping others stay productive.
You use AI as a productivity tool, not a shortcut, and you’re open to applying it in practical ways across IT workflows.
You collaborate naturally, take ownership seriously, and thrive in a lean, remote-first team.
