Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with Aerospace or Defense experience looking to work on complex composite structures? Join an established aerospace and defense manufacturing organization known for designing and delivering high performance composite components, assemblies, and tooling across demanding programs from concept through flight hardware.
Who you are:
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience (Level 2 or Level 3) in Aerospace or Defense environments
- Strong expertise designing complex composite parts, including bonded and bolted composite/metallic assemblies
- Advanced CAD and 3D modeling skills; prior experience with CREO is highly preferred
- Proven ability to perform structural calculations and analysis; FEA experience (FEMAP preferred)
- BS Degree in Engineering or related field ideally.
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop composite/metallic parts, assemblies, layup molds, and complex assembly fixtures
- Specify composite manufacturing processes and methods to fabricate flight hardware
- Perform structural calculations and FEA during product development to support design decisions
- Lead and support engineering teams by reviewing work, identifying risks, and driving programs to successful completion
What does this position pay?
Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and education. The expected range for this role is $90,000–$120,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
