Join a fast-growing team developing next-generation lithium batteries. As a Controls Engineer, you’ll design, program, and test the automated systems that make R&D and pilot-scale battery production run smoothly. You’ll work with a small, collaborative team to bring cutting-edge battery technology from the lab to real-world production.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and program control systems for machines handling heat, pressure, and fluids.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve processes for battery production.
- Work hands-on with sensors, actuators, and other hardware.
- Collaborate with engineers from R&D, mechanical, chemical, and manufacturing teams.
- Document your work and help the team learn how to run and maintain systems safely.
Who You Are:
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or similar).
- 3+ years of experience in control systems, automation, or similar.
- Strong coding skills: LabVIEW, Python, C++, and/or PLC programming.
- Hands-on problem solver who pays attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies quickly.
