Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools as directed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers.
- Help with the installation of culvert pipe and other road materials.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Classification: Non-Exempt/Seasonal
Compensation: Pay scale is determined by Montana Davis Bacon wages. $30.87 + $12.36 per hour in benefits.
Reports to: Superintendent
Work Location: Montana/North Dakota/Wyoming
