Overview
We are seeking a Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in concrete work, with a focus on general laboring, concrete raking, and forming techniques. This role is essential in delivering high-quality concrete surfaces for various construction projects, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. The Concrete Laborer will work closely with other concrete professionals on-site, contributing to the successful completion of both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare and clean surfaces for concrete pouring, ensuring proper conditions for adhesion.
Pour and spread concrete according to specifications and project requirements.
Assist with concrete lay down and finishing surfaces using various tools and techniques to achieve desired textures and finishes.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and dimensions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
Perform maintenance on tools and equipment used in concrete finishing.
Assist in the installation of hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls as needed.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on the construction site.

Experience

Prior concrete experience is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with masonry work, and concrete forming techniques is highly desirable.
Ability to operate commercial driving vehicles may be beneficial for transporting materials to job sites.
Strong understanding of construction site practices and safety measures.
Experience in related trades can be an asset.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
