Duration: 6+ months with possible extension or conversion
Pay range: $25/hr - $26/hr
Schedule: Mon – Fri 12 pm to 9 pm
About the Role:
The Logistics & Cold Chain Operations Associate is responsible for preparing packing supplies, handling live shipments, and ensuring proper temperature-controlled packaging for export. This role requires reviewing temperature handling instructions, coordinating with internal teams and international offices, and maintaining accurate shipment records using internal systems and Excel. The associate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and product integrity throughout the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Prepare and refurbish reusable packaging materials
- Monitor and respond to internal notes, emails, and shipment updates in a timely manner
- Track and manage “On-Hold” shipments for export and delivery approvals
- Process shipments by:
- Verifying all required documentation
- Managing replenishment needs
- Booking cargo space through internal systems
- Support cold chain operations, including:
- Gel pack preparation, refurbishment, and configuration
- Operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate daily reports using internal systems and Excel spreadsheets
- Complete required training within designated timelines
- Assist with customer packaging needs and cold chain replenishment
- Work overtime as required and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience preferred
- Experience in logistics or cold chain handling is a plus

- Ability to read and understand English for instructions and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and use sound judgment
- Strong multitasking capabilities
- Basic data entry and proficiency in Excel and internal systems
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Work Environment
- Combination of warehouse and office setting
- Exposure to refrigerated environments, including walk-in coolers and freezers, while handling temperature-sensitive shipments
