We are looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee logistics operations, including inventory management to ensure seamless supply chain processes. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to efficient distribution systems while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily logistics operations to support production schedules and distribution needs.
• Oversee inventory control systems and ensure accuracy across platforms.
• Coordinate transportation of materials, components, and finished goods to meet operational timelines.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements within logistics processes.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, and quality assurance teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor and optimize activities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Address logistical challenges proactively to maintain smooth operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of six years of experience in logistics operations.
• Four to six years of experience in distribution management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proven problem-solving abilities in logistics and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards applicable to logistics operations.
