If you’ve led logistics teams and also understand what great customer experience actually looks like day-to-day, this could be a really interesting role.
We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company in the Greater Philadelphia area that’s known for having a strong culture and a collaborative leadership team. They’re looking for someone to take ownership of both global logistics and customer-facing operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll sit at the center of the business and have real influence on performance, process improvement, and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing:
· Leading global logistics operations including import/export, compliance, domestic transportation, 3PLs, and warehousing
· Overseeing international trade compliance, including customs activity, regulatory changes, and duty optimization
· Managing customer service and order management teams
· Driving improvements in on-time delivery, order accuracy, and overall customer experience
· Partnering with sales and commercial teams to improve service levels and responsiveness
· Building and tracking KPIs, identifying gaps, and leading continuous improvement efforts
· Supporting growth initiatives and expansion into new markets
What they’re looking for:
· 10+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain within manufacturing
· 5+ years of leadership experience with a track record of developing teams
· Strong background in global logistics and trade compliance
· Experience overseeing customer service or order management functions
· Someone who is proactive, hands-on, and comfortable driving change
· ERP experience (D365 or similar) and solid Excel skills
Nice to have:
· Experience in chemical, pharma, or medical device manufacturing
· Exposure to customs compliance or trade regulations
Why this role stands out:
· High visibility position with influence across operations and commercial teams
· Strong company culture with good leadership and low turnover
· Opportunity to own both strategy and execution
· Competitive compensation and bonus
If you’ve been in a role where logistics and customer experience overlap and you’re ready for something with more ownership and impact, it’s definitely worth a conversation.
