Job Description
The Global Head of FP&A plays a pivotal role in influencing our product and engineering strategy by working closely with the BU leadership team, driving business results, and providing valuable financial insights that steer success. The Global Director of FP&A provides clear vision and is the driving force behind the global financial strategy and adds value to the decision-making process by partnering with the senior management team.
- Strategic Finance Partner: Be the trusted financial partner to our global engineering and product management leadership team, contributing to the development of mid-term business strategies and tactical initiatives.
- Financial Leadership: Lead the consolidation of mid-term planning, target business plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly business results for the BU. Be instrumental in directing the achievement of yearly targets, understanding variances, and offering valuable management insights on financial KPIs.
- Financial Expertise: Dive deep into financial details, conducting activities such as trend analysis, capital decision-making, business structure setup, ROI calculations, and more.
- Automation & Digitalization: Drive continuous improvement by spearheading automation and digitalization in local financial processes, enhancing value for our business partners.
- Collaboration: Function as a liaison with central finance teams and shared services to ensure seamless coordination of various reporting requirements and timelines.
- Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to finance professionals, cultivating a high-performance team that thrives on speed, focus, and a commitment to excellence.
- Financial Oversight: Keep management informed with timely reviews of the organization's financial status and progress in various programs and activities. Advise on operational adjustments based on actual cost performance data.
- Risk Management: Identify, report, and manage risk issues, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Finance, Business Management, or equivalent field required.
- Master’s degree or CPA equivalent preferred.
- 7-10+ years in Finance (at least 5 years in an FP&A leadership), experienced in FP&A, Controlling, and/or Management Accounting.
- Leadership experience, preferably in an international context.
- Working knowledge of BI and automation tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and must have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Must be adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, every changing work environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills including both written and oral.
- Must be a strong collaborator, operate with resilience, perseverance, and ability to partner with international/global cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience taking initiative and have strong analytical skills.
- Must be results-oriented and have a structured approach to work.
Requirements
- Ability to work onsite in Burnsville, MN; this is a hybrid work environment with the expectation of being onsite a minimum of three (3) days/week, sometimes more dependent on business needs.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods while working at a computer, with regular opportunities to move or change position.
- Requires visual acuity to view a computer monitor and read documents, as well as the ability to communicate clearly in person and through digital platforms.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a typical office environment with standard noise levels and ergonomic equipment.
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $179,850 - $207,950. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
