Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and reliable Paramedics, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs), and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to provide on-site medical support for special events throughout the Twin Cities metro area. This is a Per diem (as-needed) position is perfect for EMS professionals looking to supplement their schedule with flexible, engaging work. Events include concerts, festivals, sports games, fairs, and private or public gatherings. All staff will operate under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director and follow established standing orders.

Per diem Position: Hours will vary depending on event schedules and your availability

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver basic life support (BLS) care and assess patients within the scope of practice under Minnesota state protocols and NorthStar EMS training protocols.
Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies in large-crowd environments.
Work collaboratively with fellow paramedics, AEMTs, EMTs, event staff, and public safety personnel.
Monitor patient condition and provide accurate documentation of assessments and treatments.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of medical stations and ensure equipment and supplies are ready for deployment.
Maintain professionalism and deliver compassionate care in often high-profile, public settings.

Qualifications:

Current Minnesota Paramedic, AEMT, or EMT license (required)
BLS (CPR) Certification (required)
Minimum of 6 months field experience (preferred)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently in dynamic environments
Dependable transportation to travel to events
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Work environments will vary (indoor/outdoor, large crowds, varying weather conditions)

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
