We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team in Arden Hills, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing logistics processes to ensure efficient operations across global supply chains. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who excel in coordination and analysis within the logistics and distribution field.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for operational improvement and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with global teams to streamline supply chain processes and enhance distribution efficiency.
• Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation and warehousing, to meet organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain metrics to monitor the performance of logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all logistics activities.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to optimize global logistics performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment strategies.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics challenges and improve service delivery.
• Prepare detailed reports on logistics performance and present findings to management.
• Utilize data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of global logistics and distribution processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate logistics operations effectively.
• Familiarity with supply chain logistics principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess and improve logistics performance.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
