Position Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Operating Officer at Paradise Grills, located in Orlando, FL.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for leading and optimizing the day-to-day operations of Paradise Grills, including manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, logistics, installation operations, and customer service. This executive role ensures operational excellence from production through final installation while delivering an exceptional customer experience across all markets.
The COO will translate the company’s strategic vision into scalable operational processes that support growth, improve efficiency, and maintain the high-quality standards that define the Paradise Grills brand. This leader will work closely with executive leadership to ensure seamless coordination between manufacturing, showrooms, installation teams, and customer support operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee all operational departments including manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, logistics, installation teams, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support company growth, showroom expansion, and market demand.
- Ensure seamless coordination between manufacturing, inventory, delivery, and installation schedules.
- Establish operational systems and processes that scale as the company grows.
Manufacturing Operations
- Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet demand from showrooms and customer orders.
- Ensure high-quality manufacturing standards for grills, outdoor kitchens, and related products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain optimal material sourcing and inventory levels.
Warehouse, Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, staging, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and efficient product distribution to showrooms and customer installations.
- Optimize delivery routes, transportation costs, and logistics operations.
- Implement systems and technology to improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Installation & Field Operations
- Oversee installation teams responsible for delivering and installing outdoor kitchens and grills at customer homes.
- Ensure installation schedules align with production and customer expectations.
- Establish operational standards for installation quality, professionalism, and safety.
- Monitor installation performance and ensure customer satisfaction during the final stage of the purchase experience.
Customer Experience & Service
- Oversee customer service operations to ensure prompt and professional support before, during, and after installations.
- Develop service standards and escalation procedures for addressing customer concerns.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements that enhance the overall Paradise Grills experience.
- Ensure strong collaboration between sales, operations, and service teams.
Process Improvement & Performance Management
- Establish operational KPIs across manufacturing, warehouse operations, installations, and customer service.
- Analyze operational data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Implement best practices in lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve throughput and delivery timelines.
Financial & Budget Oversight
- Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor labor utilization, production costs, logistics expenses, and installation profitability.
- Partner with finance leadership on operational forecasting and planning.
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop department leaders across operations, warehouse management, production, and customer service.
- Build strong operational teams and create a culture of accountability, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans for operational departments.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations within manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and field installation teams.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and operational accountability.
- Maintain compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Experience
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain
- Experience managing manufacturing and warehouse operations in a product-based company (small to mid-size)
- Experience overseeing logistics, delivery, or installation teams preferred
- Proven experience scaling operations in a high-growth company
