Quality Engineer – Orlando, FL
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing client in the Orlando area who is seeking a Quality Engineer to support production quality, improve processes, and ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on driving quality improvements on the shop floor, reducing defects, and supporting a proactive, data-driven approach to quality assurance.
The business is committed to operational excellence and is looking for an engineer who can work closely with production and engineering teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve overall process capability.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting day-to-day manufacturing quality activities
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Monitoring and improving product and process quality performance
- Supporting internal audits and compliance with quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Analyzing quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Working closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Supporting new product introductions and process validation
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality
- Assisting with customer quality issues and responses
Requirements:
- 2–5+ years of experience in a quality engineering or manufacturing engineering role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards preferred
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Hands-on, shop-floor-focused approach
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) preferred
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Package:
- Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000
