We, EOS - world market leader for industrial 3D printing, are looking for you to support our Operations Team in Pflugerville, TX. The Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring creation and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational responsibility and oversees value stream management, industrial engineering, procurement, logistics and production.
Your Mission
•Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction for the Operations division, covering Facilities, Field Service, Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory, Quality, Manufacturing, Business Analytics and Purchasing.
•Partners with executive leadership (North America and Germany) to develop and achieve company goals, providing expertise and guidance on key operational systems and initiatives.
•Collaborates across divisions and departments (direct reporting lines in North America and indirect reporting to global operational units) to support organizational objectives.
•Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and overall operational performance.
•Ensures departmental decisions and project plans—including staffing, development, organizational structure, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facility planning—align with the company’s business plan and long‑term vision.
•Establishes, communicates, and enforces operational policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure consistent and effective execution.
•Reviews and approves cost‑control reports, budget estimates, and staffing requirements for operational projects.
•Provide strategic direction to production sites and site managers to consistently meet or exceed quality, cost, delivery, and safety performance targets.
•Ensure all operations remain fully compliant with industry regulations, local safety standards, and applicable environmental requirements.
•Champion continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to uphold and advance world‑class manufacturing standards.
•Lead strategic supply chain optimization, with strong focus on flexibility, resilience, and scalability.
•Oversee North American procurement and supplier relationships, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and long-term partnerships.
•Develop and manage operational budgets ensuring cost control, scalability, and financial sustainability.
•Define, track and manage KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and performance transparency.
•Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in operations management.
•Partners with Additive Minds and other departments to identify operational training needs and ensures appropriate training programs are developed and delivered.
Your Talents
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
•Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, including at least three years in upper‑management roles.
•Strong financial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L responsibility.
•Expertise in lean manufacturing, value stream management, 5S principles and operational excellence.
•Proven ability to lead large teams and complex operations in environments with varying levels of process maturity.
•Experience in establishing and implementing safety protocols and procedures.
•Excellence in verbal and written communication.
•Extensive knowledge of industry principles, procedures, and best practices.
•Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
•Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software.
