Vertical Cable is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is essential to keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring accurate, timely, and cost-effective shipments from our warehouses to customers nationwide. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate daily outbound and inbound shipments with carriers and internal teams
- Schedule pickups, track shipments, and proactively resolve shipping issues or delays
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including BOLs and freight invoices
- Communicate shipment status and updates to sales, warehouse, and customer service teams
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment
- Monitor freight activity and assist with cost control and shipping efficiency efforts
- Support inventory transfers between company locations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- One to three years of experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation coordination
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Proficiency with shipping systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office
- Experience working with LTL, FTL, and parcel carriers preferred
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
