Role Description
Searching for a Transportation Specialist/Agent. The Transportation Specialist will manage day-to-day transportation operations, including planning, coordinating shipments, and ensuring on-time deliveries. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The selected candidate will also utilize transportation management tools and systems to monitor shipments and optimize processes.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with a following and the ability to assess operations and improve transportation planning
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for maintaining client and carrier relationships
- Proficiency in transportation management and knowledge of logistics systems and processes
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and work efficiently under deadlines
- Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations is a plus
- Relevant industry experience or education in logistics, transportation, or related fields
