Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator serves as a key liaison between project team members—including Project Procurement, Lead Sourcing, Inspection Coordination, Expeditors, and Freight Forwarders—to gather, consolidate, and maintain logistics data and reporting. This role supports day-to-day logistics operations, reporting accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal project teams and external logistics partners.
- Prepare, maintain, and consolidate all required internal and external logistics reports for the Owner’s team.
- Maintain the duty-paid roster and support the preparation and submission of duty refund applications.
- Assist the logistics team with internal DEC reporting and response to logistics-related queries.
- In coordination with appointed Freight Forwarders, monitor shipment status and proactively report any risks or delays outside estimated delivery timelines.
- Support the management of freight quote requests and logistics forecasting, as directed by the Logistics Lead.
- Assist with additional logistics-related tasks as assigned by the Logistics Lead.
- Investigate logistics process non-compliance, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics processes and workflows.
- Actively participate as a collaborative member of an empowered project team.
