We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position requiring a proactive individual with experience in managing logistics operations and ensuring seamless coordination across various systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a keen ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee logistics processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Utilize business systems, including ERP and CRM platforms, to streamline operational workflows.
• Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate smooth import/export processes.
• Handle billing functions and maintain accurate records to support financial operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to address customer service needs and resolve inquiries.
• Leverage tools like Cargowise to optimize supply chain efficiency and improve tracking capabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong communication channels with vendors and partners.
• Monitor logistics performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance overall efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards throughout logistics operations.
• Provide detailed reports and updates to management on logistics activities and outcomes.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related role.
• Familiarity with systems such as ERP solutions, CRM platforms, and Cargowise.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage billing functions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Proficiency in using software tools for supply chain and logistics management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Customer service experience to address and resolve inquiries efficiently.
