Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Shipping Manager based in Las Vegas, NV. The Shipping Manager will oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensure accurate inventory management, and coordinate the timely handling of materials and products. Responsibilities include scheduling shipments, maintaining product safety and quality during transit, and managing storage. The role also involves supervising staff, ensuring efficiency in operations, and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Shipping & Receiving and general Shipping processes
- Proficiency in Inventory Management, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on communication and problem-solving
- Experience operating forklifts and ensuring workplace safety
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team
- Familiarity with logistics, freight coordination, and supply chain processes
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus
