What You’ll Do
Relate Search has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Logistics Manager who will play a critical role in launching, stabilizing, and scaling warehouse and distribution operations across the United States. This individual will serve as a hands-on operational leader, partnering closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to build high-performing sites, implement standardized processes, and deliver best-in-class service, quality, and efficiency. You can expect to be deeply involved in greenfield site start-ups, operational ramp-ups, process design, KPI implementation, and multi-site performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end setup, launch, and stabilization of new logistics and warehouse sites nationwide, serving as the on-site operations leader during start-up and ramp phases.
- Build, lead, and develop large, multi-shift teams across inbound, outbound, fulfillment, and reverse logistics operations.
- Design and implement scalable workflows and standardized operating models that increase throughput, reduce cycle times, and improve overall efficiency.
- Establish, track, and leverage KPIs related to safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Partner with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve system integrations, and strengthen long-term operational partnerships.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain operations.
- Proven success leading high-volume, multi-shift warehouse operations
- Preferred experience with greenfield/start-up facilities and rapid operational scaling.
- Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, fulfillment, and/or reverse logistics environments, including WMS/OMS systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, travel-heavy roles.
