Project Manager - Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects concurrently varying in size for multiple clients.
- Work with clients to ensure project needs are met.
- Work with field supervision to make sure projects are completed on time, on budget, and per scope.
- Make sure projects are completed safely, meeting both company and client safety needs.
- Perform Quantity Take Off Estimating
- Create accurate quantity take off for potential projects.
- Create proposals for potential projects.
- Manage all job costs, billing, and other contract needs related to your projects.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with project managers and estimators internally and customers/subcontractors externally.
- Knowledge of industrial construction estimating involving multiple trades (steel, concrete, excavation, demolition, general trades).
- Industrial construction experience (e.g. steel mills, automotive plants, chemical factories, heavy manufacturing) a plus.
- Able to fill out proposals and comply with varying customer bid forms.
- Able to work independently.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office as well as a general understanding of technology.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Experience in Northeast Ohio construction industry is a plus.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
- Prefer at least 5 years of experience.
