Due to our continued growth and success, we are excited to expand our team! We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our Electrical team. The ideal candidate will support the planning, execution, and finalization of construction projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss project scheduling, coordinate work, and resolve issues.
- Estimate new projects utilizing Accubid software.
- Review of the estimate to check for errors and omissions.
- Client relationship building and business development.
- Work onsite at project collaboration offices.
- Assist with project closeout documentation.
- Track and maintain project logs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate with a wide spectrum of individuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Tech savvy is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in electrical construction.
