IPS can provide services from initial project definition to equipment commission utilizing our 4 phases of project management.
IPS looks to provide full EPCM (Engineer, Procure and Construction Management) services to the following industries: Life Sciences, Chemicals, Food and Beverages, Primary and Metals, Buildings, Data Centers, etc. across the US.
Job Posting Overview
Group-IPS USA is seeking an experienced Owner’s Representative to lead and coordinate complex technical building programs on behalf of our customers, ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, cost, and stakeholder expectations.
This role serves as the primary interface between Customers, design and construction partners, and a large diverse stakeholder groups, with a strong emphasis on technical facilities and R&D laboratory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Act as Customer’s Owner’s Representative for a large-scale, multi-year headquarters upgrade and expansion program.
- Provide end-to-end oversight of planning, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases.
- Ensure alignment of project outcomes with Customer’s business, R&D, safety, and operational requirements.
Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Serve as the primary point of coordination for internal stakeholders, including R&D, engineering, facilities, EHS, IT, and leadership teams.
- Lead requirements gathering and validation, with particular focus on R&D laboratory and technical space needs.
- Translate stakeholder’s needs into clear project requirements and ensure they are incorporated into design and execution.
Design & Consultant Coordination
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, laboratory planners, construction managers, and specialty consultants.
- Review and guide design development to ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with standards and regulations.
- Manage design changes, scope clarifications, and technical decision-making throughout the program lifecycle.
Project Controls & Reporting
- Establish and maintain strong project management and project controls practices.
- Develop, monitor, and report on detailed schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
- Implement and manage earned value tracking, cost forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Identify risks early and drive mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and budget integrity.
Governance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to Customer governance, safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Support executive updates, decision packages, and steering committee communications.
- Drive issue resolution across disciplines and stakeholder groups.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Owner’s Representative, Project Manager, or Program Manager on large, complex capital projects.
- Strong background in technical buildings, particularly R&D laboratories, engineering spaces, or advanced office environments.
- Exceptional project management skills, including schedule development and earned value management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence large, diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and construction teams on multi-year programs.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to relocate for multiple years
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting corporate headquarters, laboratory campuses, or similar technical facilities.
- Professional certification (PMP or similar) is a plus.
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Industrial backgrounds preferred.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
