We are seeking an organized, detailed-oriented Project Coordinator I to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates in science-related fields who are interested in project coordination, technical operations, and supporting advanced engineering systems. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and support teams to help coordinate activities, document project progress, and assist with testing and deployment of vision systems. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule internal and customer meetings, ensuring timely and efficient communication among project stakeholders.
- Manage email communication and follow-up with customers and vendors to address pending project needs.
- Record detailed meeting notes and document project information for team reference across multiple projects.
- Compile monthly operational reports, providing insights into projects' performances.
- Maintain regular communication with the support team to track and address ongoing support issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Process purchase and sales orders and ensure open tasks are passed on to project managers to delegate accordingly.
- Assist with the initiation and setup of new projects, supporting the project structure and organization.
- Assist with testing of vision systems and developing training materials for end users.
- Provide support in configuring and installing basic hardware as specified by project requirements.
- Utilize measurement tools and scientific instruments to collect data and support report creation.
- Assist in designing calibration targets, labels, and nameplates for various projects.
- Coordinate the shipping and logistics of equipment and items to customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline (e.g. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering Technology, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly skilled in Word and Excel, with the ability to create, format, and manage documents and spreadsheets efficiently.
- Willingness to learn technical systems and project coordination processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship, lab, or academic experience involving testing, data collection, or documentation.
- Familiarity in using project management tools such as Jira, ZOHO, and Confluence.
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware installation and setup.
- Experience with measurement devices or laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Introductory experience with data analysis or reporting.
