Regional General Manager
General Purpose
Zerorez is seeking a high-accountability Regional General Manager with a proven track record of scaling multi-location operations through strong leadership bench-building, disciplined execution, and system-driven operational consistency. This role is centered around developing Operations Managers and Supervisors, holding teams to measurable performance standards, and implementing the institutional operating structure needed to manage rapid growth across multiple markets.
General Overview
The Regional GM is the key operational leader responsible for market growth, leadership pipeline development, and repeatable operational systems across all assigned locations. The region will ultimately support $10M+ in revenue and 75+ employees, with the RGM driving growth, structure, and leadership capability at every step.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Develop Market-Level Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop Operations Managers and Supervisors to become autonomous, high-performing leaders.
- Create a leadership pipeline that supports expansion and succession.
- Implement structured coaching, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Ensure each market has a capable, accountable leadership team.
Install a High-Accountability Operating System
- Establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly accountability rhythms.
- Hold every market accountable to clear KPIs.
- Set expectations, inspect results, and follow up decisively.
- Ensure leaders own their performance and execute consistently.
Build Institutional Scale & Repeatable Systems
- Standardize SOPs, workflows, training, reporting, and processes.
- Ensure systems are replicable, measurable, and consistent across markets.
- Reduce variability by eliminating ad-hoc processes.
- Build infrastructure that allows scalable growth.
Drive Aggressive, Profitable Multi-Market Growth
- Develop and execute annual business and expansion plans.
- Ensure lean labor models, disciplined cost control, and operational efficiency.
- Support new market launches with low-cost startup methods.
- Push each location to exceed revenue and profitability targets.
Oversee Performance Across All Markets
- Analyze KPIs, trends, and operational performance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality standards.
- Implement corrective action plans when needed.
- Oversee fleet, labor, routing, and field execution standards.
Compliance & Financial Ownership
- Maintain compliance across all regulatory categories.
- Monitor job costing, margins, staffing models, and cash flow.
- Own regional P&L accountability.
- Ensure market leaders understand and manage financial outcomes.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred but not required)
- 10+ years of operational leadership with multi-location responsibility
- Proven success in developing and holding managers accountable
- Experience scaling service or field-based operations
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities
- High personal accountability and leadership presence
Exempt Salaried Position
Total Compensation $80k-$110k
50% travel is required
Preferred:
- Experience in home services, logistics, or franchise operations
- Background in SOP creation, systems building, and leadership training
- Experience managing distributed teams in a growth environment
