IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Arlington, Texas. This role focuses on managing large-scale infrastructure projects and enterprise-level IT solutions. The position involves overseeing project lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring delivery aligns with organizational goals.
Position Overview for the Project Manager:

Leading and overseeing departmental and enterprise-level technology infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle

Managing project scope, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery

Evaluating and selecting appropriate technology solutions and serving as the liaison between departments and hardware/software vendors

Coordinating efforts between IT teams and departmental stakeholders to implement solutions effectively
-
Currently managing projects such as a VoIP migration to the 8x8 phone system and a neighborhood Wi-Fi access project
Requirements for the Project Manager:

4+ years of experience in managing large technology infrastructure projects throughout the entire lifecycle within a PMO
-
Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute)

Knowledge of cloud-hosted VoIP solutions (e.g., Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco Webex, Zoom Phone, RingCentral, 8x8)

Familiarity with wireless (Wi-Fi 6/6E, WLAN controllers) and wireline systems including structured cabling standards, fiber, and copper technologies

Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to VoIP system migrations
