Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Transportation Supervisor based in Arlington, TX. The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of fleet management, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, supervising transportation personnel, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The role involves managing delivery schedules, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering effective communication between drivers, customers, and other internal departments.
Qualifications
- Strong Supervisory Skills for leading and managing transportation teams effectively
- Solid understanding of DOT Regulations and their application in transportation operations
- Proficiency in Fleet Management and logistics coordination
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with the team and customers
- Commitment to providing exceptional Customer Service and resolving any issues efficiently
- Prior experience in transportation or logistics is preferred
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is a plus
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
