Bilingual Logistics Associate
Location: Miami, FL 33172
Compensation: $20 hourly
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to oversee all logistics activities involving shipping, delivery, and general cargo coordination. This role acts as the primary connection between shipments, carriers, and customers, ensuring documentation accuracy, on-time delivery, and exceptional service throughout the logistics process.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination & Customer Communication
Manage the full lifecycle of shipping and delivery for general cargo, ensuring timely and accurate movement based on customer requirements.
Verify all shipment documentation to ensure there are no discrepancies between received supplies and attached invoices.
Collaborate with customers and destination offices to revise documentation until final approval is received.
System & Documentation Accuracy
Enter all inbound and outbound shipment data into SAP, including costs, proof of delivery (POD), AP corrections, and trace updates.
Update shipment information in both SAP and shared drives to maintain complete, accurate, and organized records.
Finalize DTA shipments promptly upon arrival at their destination.
Ensure all documentation is correctly completed and uploaded into the internal Gestion Documental system.
Operational & Driver Support
Assist drivers as needed with loading, unloading, and transporting cargo.
Provide coverage for pick-ups and deliveries when required.
Enter and maintain export cost data to support expense reporting and visibility.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications & Skills
1+ year of experience in logistics, operations, or customer service.
Experience working in a team-oriented environment while also managing tasks independently.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish (required).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work occasional off-hours to support urgent or time-sensitive shipments.
Occasional domestic or international travel may be required for client visits, industry events, or contingency operations.
