About the role
CS Construction is hiring a hands-on Commercial Construction Support team member to help keep our jobsites running smoothly. This role is a mix of basic carpentry, general construction labor, and site support on active commercial projects.
You’ll be jumping in where needed, from demo and sitework to moving materials, assisting carpenters, and supporting concrete and framing crews – always with a strong focus on jobsite safety and quality on large scale commercial jobs.
If you bring a solid work ethic, basic trade skills, and a safety-minded attitude, we’re willing to train and help you grow.
What you’ll do
- Assist with demo, cleanup, and material handling on active commercial jobsites
- Support framing and concrete crews (form setting, stripping, basic layout help)
- Perform basic carpentry tasks under the direction of a foreman or superintendent
- Help with sitework activities (trenches, backfill, compaction, erosion control, etc.)
- Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Load/unload deliveries and stage materials to keep work moving efficiently
- Follow directions from supers, PMs, and carpenters to support daily work plans
- Use hand and power tools safely and properly
- Be willing to jump in wherever needed to help the team meet schedule and quality goals
What we're looking for
- Basic carpentry knowledge and comfort using common hand/power tools
- Commercial construction experience or strong residential experience with a desire to move into commercial
- Proven ability to perform physical labor (lift, carry, bend, work on your feet all day, work in various weather conditions)
- Understanding of construction safety practices and PPE requirements
- Ability to take direction, ask questions, and work both independently and with a crew
- Reliable, on-time, and consistent in following through on tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA-10 (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Nice to have
- Experience with concrete, framing, or sitework
- Familiarity with lull, scissor/boom lifts and current certifications
- Experience on commercial jobsites
- Interest in growing into a carpenter or foreman role over time

Schedule
- Job Type: Full-time
- Days: Monday – Friday (occasional overtime as project needs require)
- Location: Central Oregon jobsites (Bend/Redmond and surrounding areas)
- Work Location: In person
