Job Title: Workday Purchasing Manager
Location: Roanoke, VA ( 3 weeks remote, 1 week onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Required Skills and Experience:
- Workday direct experience and deep knoweldge
- Oversee the procurement application for all purchasing functions (Workday)
- Identify and determine the nature of complex purchase orders and electronic invoice matching reconciliation functions
- Coordinate ERP tickets and online interactive processes
- Coordinate, review, and approve all materials-related capital orders to including purchase orders, capital equipment orders, shipping charges, quantities, pricing, etc.
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of Purchasing Operations
- Supervise purchasing, receiving, and invoice reconciliation of MM medical supplies and general supplies
- Review purchasing transactions to ensure best-pricing performance
- Oversee training of new buyers
- Manage the proper coding of all supply requisitions to ensure budget to actual accuracy
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable the proper payment amounts to vendors including but not limited to vendor master set-up and maintenance
- Maintain an ongoing and working relationship with Contracting on contracting responsibilities, contracting workflow, contracting processes, GPO utilization and vendor relationships
- Maintain reporting metrics
- Liaison between EDI vendor and the distributor relationship for procurement
